Don't miss this Careers session!

I know that lots of you turned up to the talk we ran on ‘Looking for part-time work in Sheffield (for International Students)’ and the ‘Part-time jobs and Volunteering Fair’ was incredibly busy!
So now if you are aiming to work in the UK when you complete your course, it is time to start thinking about graduate jobs and what you need to have/do to get one.
You will need to understand the graduate employment market and what employers are looking for.
So come along to our Careers talk which will hopefully answer your questions. It is called-
‘INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS- HOW TO MAXIMISE YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING A GRADUATE JOB’
And takes place on Thursday 14th October – 1-2pm in Hicks Lecture Theatre 3
It will cover topics such as: -
• How the UK graduate employment market works and when to make applications
• What UK Employers are looking for
• How to ensure that you have the sort of experiences and skills they want and how to explain them on your application form
• How the Careers Service can help you

If you can’t make it on the 14th it will be repeated on Wednesday 27th October- same time and venue.

This is an important session- don’t miss it! No need to book- just turn up.
See you there.
