Internships – International Students

Great opportunity! 5 new paid internship positions have just become available.
They are within Student Services at the University and are specifically for international students (or students who have experience of being an international student - i.e. studied abroad etc).
These are an excellent opportunity to gain some very valuable employment experience in administrative/project work and make a contribution to developing the University’s services for international students.
They are in the following areas:-

-Registry Services- Communications Review Assistant

-ELTC -International Summer School Recruitment Assistant

-Careers Service -Evaluation Assistant - Services for International Students

-Student Support and Guidance - Vacation Programme Assistant

-Student Support and Guidance - Chinese Student Project worker ( for this internship the student would need to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese)

3 out of the 5 are already advertised on 'myVacancies' (accessed via the Careers tab in MUSE) and the other 2 will be on there very soon (put ‘Student Services’ into the search box).

The internships are 80 hours each and will be paid at £7.29 per hour. They will start within the next month and must be completed by the end of July.
If you are interested I’d advise you to apply quickly as they have fairly short closing dates. Also I imagine that they will be popular so you will need to put in a strong application.
