Visit our Student Jobshop in its new home!  
Because of the refurbishment taking place in the Students’ Union and University House, the Student Jobshop has moved to 285 Glossop Road. It is s open on Monday-Friday 10.00am -3.00pm (11.00am-3.00pm on Tuesdays). You can see the latest vacancies displayed and talk to the friendly and helpful staff about ways you can improve your job search.

And

Attend the ‘Part time Jobs and Volunteering Fair’ on Wednesday 3rd October 11.00am-3.00pm in the Octagon. It is an excellent chance to meet local employers offering paid work and apply for jobs on the day. You can also find out opportunities to do voluntary work.

And

Register on ‘myVacancies’ via the Careers tab in MUSE. You can see all the vacancies there, plus arrange to receive email alerts when vacancies you are interested come in and sign up for RSS feeds

On a separate, but related, topic -
Jo Holliday- International Adviser at the Student Union Advice Centre- has asked me to help publicise a session that she is running.  The session is for Bulgarian and Romanian students and will help you apply for your worker authorisation.  It will take place on Wednesday 3 October, 1.15 – 2.00pm, Council Chamber, Octagon Centre. bit.ly/SnGpqe
