The Sheffield Internship
Scheme - 2 Vacancies needing language skills
The University of Sheffield, backed by funding from Sheffield City
Council, is running the Sheffield Internship Scheme which aims to help students enhance their employability skills.
The scheme offers 50 bursary funded internships with
companies and organisations in Sheffield where you will have the opportunity to
complete a project based piece of work over 100 hours and earn £7.36 an hour. You will learn new and valuable skills which
will enhance your CV for future employment. All internships will take place
over 100 hours in total; a maximum of 15 hours per week during term time.
A couple of the internships require people with specific Language skills-
Export Market
Research Intern
Applicants must have
-A good spoken
and written command of Arabic
-Basic IT skills
-Professional
telephone manner

International
Marketing Assistant
Applicants must
have
- A good command
of both the English and Mandarin languages
- Excellent
interpersonal skills
- Understanding
of marketing and interest in business
- IT competence
and familiarity with English and Chinese social media
- Pro-active and
enthusiastic
The closing date is 19/3/13
Both of these vacancies are open to postgraduates as well as undergraduates.
