Talk from a Chinese Gradute 'My Journey from the University of Sheffield to a Graduate Job



Wednesday 22nd February 1.00-2.30pm

Jing Peng who studied for a Masters degree at the University Of Sheffield was successful in gaining a graduate job in the UK and is now working as a Management Consultant at PwC.
She is coming back to the University to talk to current international students about:–
-What she did at the University of Sheffield (studies, part-time jobs, extra-curricula activities)
- Her experiences of applying for graduate jobs (and why she was successful)
- The jobs she has done in China and the UK
- Her experiences of working for PwC
- Her understanding of the graduate labour market for international students both in the UK and in China
- Her tips and advice for current international students.

The session will include an input from Jing Peng and a chance to ask questions.
It will be relevant to those who are seeking to work in the UK and those who are returning home to work or working in other countries internationally.
 This is a real opportunity to hear from/talk to a Chinese alumna who is building a successful career – don’t miss it!

International students need to focus on their career.In order to have a smooth and hassle-free journey of the academic path, they need to have right accommodation.It would be wise to speak to those who have been there already or be in touch with the experts in the field.
