Grant Thornton still has vacancies for their graduate scheme and placements.
For their graduate scheme, the vacancies are in the areas of Audit, Tax and Consultancy. These vacancies are in several regions of the UK including some based in Sheffield. They accept applications from students of any degree subject.
However you need to APPLY NOW as they have Assessment Centres arranged for January and February and you need to make sure you have chance to complete the aptitude tests and telephone interview before the deadline.
Grant Thornton sponsor international students under Tier 2 and on their website it says:-
“Candidates who require a visa will be subject to the same application and selection process as those who have the right to work in the UK. An application for a visa is made if you are successful in all stages of the recruitment process, have received and accepted an offer from us, and we have seen proof of your qualifications. Any job offer is subject to successful attainment of a visa”
If you are an undergraduate in your penultimate year you may be interested in applying for one of their summer placements. These last between 4-6 weeks and are based in London. This will give you fantastic experience and really look good on your CV when it comes to making graduate applications. Again apply NOW.
Details of both these vacancies and how to apply are on ‘myVacancies’ via the careers tab in MUSE.
(If you need help translating your international qualifications into UK equivalencies there is an information sheet download on our website which gives advice re this at-http://www.shef.ac.uk/careers/students/inter/gradworkuk)
